Stay Safe America

A 36 by 48 canvas from April 2020: the Statue of Liberty in a face mask, painted in bright pop color early in the COVID shutdown as a thank you to essential workers.

During these uncertain times, I wanted to create a piece that represented our current situation, although things might seem dark our bright lights will always shine through. The face mask over the Statue of Liberty is just a reminder to stay safe. Just wanted to thank all the essential employees that putting their lives on the line daily to help us overcome this epidemic.
