THE LYRICS, CLOSER

A face drawn in white line on a black canvas and filled with handwritten Tupac Shakur lyrics, with yellow around the eyes and lips and strokes of gold on either side. Willie shared it on April 21, 2020, in his first weeks of painting, with a line from Tupac.

During your life, never stop dreaming. No one can take away your dreams.

Tupac Shakur, the line Willie shared with the painting on April 21, 2020
